begin the push

Okay, so I HAVE to make a push for more mileage. I ran tonight (on my typical day off) -- 4.25 miles an 8-minute pace. Felt like shin splints for the first 2 miles, but it went away. I signed up for Tom King Half-Marathon today. That's some motivation to get movin'. I have 19 days to prepare myself to run 13.1 miles in 1 hour and 50 minutes. No more procrastination...
