training for MCM

i've paid the registration for the Marine Corps Marathon in DC on Oct 29th. They have a nifty deferrment feature for those that decide not to run it. Instead of being out the fee ($85), you simply pay 20 bucks and you're pre-registered for next year's race. So, I *do* have that in my back pocket. I'm trainign as if I am going to run it, and that's the plan --barring any surprises.
