so much for being on schedule

after celebrating a bit too much at Scott's birthday party Friday night, i was in no condition to attempt a long run on Saturday. Once the day got away from me it was too hot. The same thing almost happened on Sunday - except I forced myself to hit the pavement at 2:30 PM while the sun was scorching outside. The thermometer read 99, but it felt even hotter. I only got 3 miles in. Oh well - the push for 26 begins Tuesday.
